Do you want to give back to your community? The HealthCare Connection (THCC) is launching a new ambassador program called Roots. Ambassadors will help promote THCC’s mission to provide quality, culturally sensitive and accessible primary health care services focusing on the medically underserved, underinsured, and uninsured residing in northern Hamilton County and surrounding areas. THCC’s Roots Committee is seeking committee members who can represent a cross-section of THCC’s service area with varied backgrounds and interests. We want to encourage current and former residents who care about the communities they grew up in, currently live in, or work in, and who want to give back to their communities to join this important initiative.

The major role of Roots Ambassadors is to champion the THCC cause by:

  1. Supporting, promoting and spreading the word about THCC and its mission
  2. Help create and promote community events to build healthier neighborhoods
  3. Attending monthly/quarterly meetings

There are various ways to get involved:

  • Health Fairs
  • Open Houses
  • Reading Room
  • 50th Anniversary
  • Capital Campaign

Ambassadors are needed for the following neighborhoods in our service area:
