As the Dental Assistant, you will prepare the operatory and patient for each treatment, including assisting with completion of forms. Additionally, you will provide active chair side assistance, take and process any needed x-rays, record any exam findings, monitor and record sterilization cycles and follow proper infection control protocols, maintain supply inventory, help manage patient flow in the clinic, provide support and assistance for various dental procedures as needed.
The position requires an ability to communicate and interact with administrators, staff, patients, and anyone from diverse cultural, ethnic and racial backgrounds. Certification of Dental Assisting Training, an Ohio Radiographer’s license and current CPR certification, or the ability to obtain, are required. Dental Bilingual Receptionist/Registration Clerk
Under the direct supervision of the Dental Practice, the Bilingual Dental Receptionist/Registration Clerk facilitates the smooth transit of patients through the dental practice and provides a range of critical tasks that support an efficient, effective and financially sustainable dental program. The position, additionally, is responsible for language interpretation (English/Spanish) as required in the front and during dental procedures. Previous medical or dental reception, registration or billing experience is preferred. Must have the ability to learn and use Electronic Dental Record/Practice Management System and other computer programs used by the dental clinic- Dentix and NextGen. Should maintain a working knowledge of dental terminology, office procedures and equipment.
Assist providers in providing direct patient care including: interviewing the patient, conducting requested screening/tests, responding to telephone inquiries, maintaining equipment and supplies in exam rooms and office, and coordinating referrals for patients. Must have active CPR certification and be a graduate of a Licensed Practical Nursing Program with a current Ohio license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse. Prefer at least one year of experience in community health nursing setting or private physician practice.
RN Team Lead
Directs and oversees patient flow at the Mount Healthy practice location and assures optimum use of MAs and LPNs in supporting providers in compliance with established procedures. Requires at least an Associate degree in nursing with current CPR certification and Ohio license to practice as a registered nurse. Also must have over one year of nursing experience with some supervisory or team leadership familiarity. Experience in community health nursing is preferred but experience in a private physician practice or other like environment can be substituted.
Patient Services Representative/Greeter
Responsible for greeting and registering new and current patients, updating patient financial information at each visit and collecting all service fees including current and outstanding balances.
The candidate selected will have customer service and data entry experience, preferably with a minimum of 1 year prior experience registering patients in a hospital, ambulatory care or other medical facility, along with electronic health records familiarity (NextGen preferred).
Bilingual School Based Health Center Patient Services Specialist
Responsible for assisting provider as needed in a scope of activities tailored to a school setting which might include preparing patient and office for examination as well as completing necessary documentation and other front office duties.
A successful candidate will have at least one years’ experience working in an administrative support capacity in a health care facility or school, working with persons of diverse educational, socioeconomic and ethnic backgrounds. Possess a demonstrated history of excellent communication, customer service, continuous quality improvement, relationship development, results orientation and team building. A Medical Assistant is preferred, along with fluency in Spanish.
